The type of cleaning that will be done to the automobile all depends on the type of detailing that is chosen. The two types are interior detailing and exterior detailing.

Auto Tint Removal

The removal of previously installed window tint. It can be redone after it is removed if desired or it can be left as is after the window tint removal process the decision is entirely up to the owner of the vehicle.

High Quality Materials We Use

Cleaning

Cleaning the window film is simple it can be leaned with a soft clean cloth and alcohol based cleaner or plain water. Ammonia products should not be used.

Seat Belt Chips

Precaution should be taken when releasing seat belts. As a result of the seat belt hitting the glass, as it is released small chips can be made in the window.

Drying Time

Depending on the film brand, type, and weather conditions your new window film will typically take 3 to 5 days to fully dry. Before your windows are fully dry tinted windows may appear hazy or lumpy, and they may seem to have water bubbles. Do not roll your tinted windows down until they are fully dry!

Night Time Defogger Distortion

During the nighttime you may notice that the light from headlights will reflect off of the defogger lines. This effect is caused by the film having to bend slightly around the raised defogger line, all of this varies from car to car, and there is nothing that can be done about it. Unfortunately this is something that is unavoidable and actually quite common after a cars windows have been tinted.

Black Dotted Edges

Most cars have a black ceramic ‘frit’ edge on the rear window. Sometimes this ceramic edge is straight and flat; sometimes it will have a dotted edge. This all depends on what type of car it is. These black ceramic dots are quite thick on most cars preventing the window film from sticking to the area between the dots. This results in a whitish looking strip trimming the glass. Most of the time this isn’t very noticeable; however some cars have a wide band of dots trimming the top of the rear window. This area is so wide that the whitish looking area will become more noticeable. Unfortunately, the effect is unavoidable.

Imperfections

Although we work to achieve perfection in our installations, some degree of dust contamination and or minor imperfections are present in every window film application, It is almost impossible for the process to end up being perfect. Also flaws or scratches and metal deposits that were on the glass before the window tinting are often much more noticeable after the windows are tinted.

Small silvery looking spots or ‘metal rubs’ are usually found in station wagons or other utility vehicles, and are caused by a metallic object (such as a baby stroller handle) rubbing against the inner surface of the glass during travel. As a result this rubbing deposits metal onto the glass creating a silver or grey stain. These metal rubs are usually not very noticeable and often aren’t noticed until the windows become tinted.
